  1. Ron,
I will use your team as the example (Team 12). You and Bruce play league on Thursdays. I started with your Handicap Index as of 7 June. Bruce was 19.1 and you were 19.3. You and Bruce indicated you wanted to play the Back (White) Tees. Next we calculate your regular handicap using (Hdcp Index * Back Slope)/113.
The Back Slope for Mo Bluffs is 115. Bruce’s Hdcp comes out to 19.44 and yours is 19.64. For Special Events this year, we calculate Event Hdcps for 2-Man teams by taking 35% of the lowest team member’s hdcp and 15% of the other team member’s hdcp. Since Bruce is the low handicap, his event hdcp is 6.80 (.35*19.44) and yours is 2.95 (.15*19.64). And we add the two to get the team handicap which is 9.75.

We use the same process for 4-Man teams except we take 20%/15%/10%/5% of the handicaps low to high. And if somebody drops out of a 4-Man team leaving a 3-some, we take 20%/15%/10% of the handicaps low to high.

I hope this helps and if you have any additional question please ask. I am more than happy to answer.
